I'm not a greenie by any standard, but I'd love it if Metro Detroit had a subway system that reached out to the suburbs.

I like the freedom my car gives me, but I'd also like another choice. I'm tired of being overcharged for precious parking spots and I'm tired of trying to fit my car into lots that were designed before the SUV became popular.

I grew up and lived in Brighton my whole life, if they had a rail system that went to big lots where I could park and ride I would have loved that!
