Gee, ya think?

This wouldn't have anything to do with the fact we've outsourced thousands of jobs there which subsequently raised their standard of living, would it?

43% of the French have a favorable opinion of the US?!

Wow, we must be doing something right if the number is that high!

The Indians have a more favorable view of the USA than Americans.

So why did ABC Radio news begin their top of the hour news with an audio of Indian crowds (or others imported to India for just such an event) chanting "Anti-Bush; Anti-America slogans.

Conversely, the FOX Radio news began their top of the hour news with "President Bush pays a surprise visit to Afghanistan.

Once again, the MSM "color the news."

Did Pew accidentally reveal to us a legitimate 62% rating for President Bush?

There's a remarkable turnaround in a lot of places from a poll I recall from a few years back.

It isnt easy being President. Mr. Bush cant take a dump without someone running a poll on whether or not he really had to go and what the people think of the consistency.

How accurate are these polls though? I bet many Indians don't even know who Bush is.

100,000 protestors (muslims and hindus) against the US and Bush today. Doesn't that speak volumes about Indian support?

Not terribly surprising. The two countries share a lot of common concerns. Terrorism. Nuclear proliferation. The rise of China.

India's in a bad neighborhood. They have no delusions, like the Europeans, that military action should never be used to defend national interests.

Add to that the fact that Indian immigrants in this country have been hugely succesful, so they probably talk up the US when they are visiting family in India.

India is a natural ally for the US.

Once again, President George W. Bush leads the way.

India is a nation of a billion people, destined to become the world's largest nation in a matter of decades, with an economic growth rate of 8 percent and a central position, geographically and strategically, in Asia.

Furthermore, India is a natural U.S. ally in the War on Terror and a natural balance to the ambitions of China, Russia, and the Islamic World (note no mention of increasingly irrelevant Europe).

And in addition, India needs the U.S. even more than the U.S. needs India!

India = what % of the world population.

24% (1,601,005,000 / 6,500,744,455)

And 71% have a favorable view of the U.S.

So, where is it that the whole world hates the U.S.?

In the media.
