In planning your activities, consider the kind of places known to be terrorist targets which include key transport installations including air and sea ports, buildings associated with foreign companies and governments (including embassies and military sites), residential compounds, oil interests, hotels, clubs, restaurants, schools, places of worship, outdoor recreation events and tourist areas. Domestic government and military sites are also possible targets.

Children of fathers with United Arab Emirates citizenship automatically acquire United Arab Emirates citizenship at birth. Child custody decisions are based on Islamic law. You should ensure that you consult a lawyer to resolve custody disputes and to determine whether children may be prevented from leaving the United Arab Emirates.

Whether Arab or any other ethnicity...that's not the problem. The problem is that these people are muslims. A muslim's first allegiance is to islam and ANY other muslim, regardless of whether the other muslim is carrying a suicide bomb or shipping materials for terrorist attacks.

Our government has to acknowledge that islam is the terror problem before we can truly begin to fight terror.

The risk of terrorist attacks against Westerners exists EVERYWHERE. This IS a global war.

IOW, you believe that the US can, by applying force, change the views of those on the sidelines to freedom loving? While at the same time picking out those that are actively anti-freedom, and either destroying them, or changing their hearts? What kind of fantasy world do you live in? The only way to change these people, is through application of massive force, destroying all that they come to depend upon. IOW, destroy their religion, all of their "holy places" and their leaders. As long as Islam remains, there will be terrorism. Don't you get it, that in places like Syria, Iraq, Pakistan even in UAE, that terrorists live there, train there, and will do so until it costs too much to allow it?

Interesting...there is no USA Embassy travel warnings out specifically against travel to UAE. There are general warnings about the Middle East as a whole.
