I was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, even Explorer Scout. The pack leaders, and every adult, was the father of a Scout. Our trust was total, no one had ever heard of such a thing as this. Yes, that was a jillion years ago. I wouldn't want to be a kid today. On your guard from age five onward.

Meanwhile, punish this piece of slime, in kind.

In 1958 my father split, I wanted to join the baseball team

There was a priest named Father French, he wasn't French...

he got me into the little league and the Scouts.

He was an excellent, and I was happy to call him father.
