A troubling video of an insurgent sniper in Iraq known only as "Juba" is spreading across the Internet. As National Public Radio describes it, in the professional-quality video, "Juba" is quiet, efficient and ruthless as he trains his sights on American soldiers and pulls the trigger. Jihadist messages accompany the grisly footage -- in English. The video's colloquial American vernacular strongly suggests the video was either made in the United States or by people deeply familiar with this country -- and skilled in the use of the latest technologies.

I don't know...was presumably shot in Iraq. Might have been sent to a post-production lab elsewhere.

I have to keep in mind that the National Socialists did a whiz bang job with their media presentations in the years before WWII, and we still beat them. As the climate change people like to say, we will reach a "tipping point" where the entire structure will be centered around a new "norm." It looks like killing 3,000 Americans and destroying the World Trade Center didn't do change the attitudes of a large minority in this country. Somewhere, somehow, as the Islamofascists continue to press for their own agenda, they're going to press too far, and we'll react... either that, or some of us will fight and some of us will collaborate, and that won't be a pretty sight, either. The only thing I can't imagine is wholesale surrender or wholesale conversion.

Anybody been to Ifilm and seen their "war zone"? Other videos on the 'net?

We've been showing things like this for a while, so no surprise there.

What gets me is the lack of outrage over this as opposed to when an AH-64 takes out insurgents in a field and it gets cropped to show "farmers" getting popped next to a tractor, or Fallujah footage gets bandied around by Kevin Sykes and his ilk.

As with Israel, a majority of Americans only love their country when we are dying, when we fight back we feel guilt.

We were lost long ago, to many have been sucked into the culture of Oprah and the NYT bathhouse boys.

At least 9/11 shows us who will fight, and who will not, and who are susceptible to propaganda against the US and its CIC.

I would say about 1/3 of Americans are patriots.

At some point criticism of the President, bad mouthing the war effort, celebrating our setbacks, presenting negative pessimistic assessments, recommending retreat, revealing classified documents, crosses the line. It crosses the line from vigorous dissent and honest disagreement, to actual aiding and abetting the enemy and actual treason.
It is clear to me that the Democratic Party and the Main Stream Media have un-ambigulously, with malice and intent crossed that line. The beatification of Murtha and Sheahan along with the NYT/Wash Post harmful publishing of classified documents, for me removed any doubt as to there real agenda. They have literally bet the farm on our defeat in Iraq. Defeat discredits the hated George Bush and the Republican Party, leading inevitably to their return to power. Victory makes George Bush appear a visionary and his Presidency a great success.
I don't see how you can call what they are doing anything but Treason(Treason with a capital T). It sounds extreme, harsh, and radical; but I don't know how else to characterize it.

I don't know, I watch an Terrorist get whacked on a video today. Seems one of their little "Videos" fell into our hand. They were taping what was suppose to be an ambush of an American Convoy. Their RPG gunner was being video taped squatting in a road. I guess he was waiting to ambush the lead patrol vehicle. Seems someone on our side saw him and shot him down. About 4 shots, including one to the head and he instantly became a good terrorist.

Another time I watched a Gun Ship video of a night shoot where they fry thee guys setting up an IED. Not real sure this sort of Terrorist video showing them shooting at us is really effective. Seems to just make out side even angrier.

Yeah that was sort of the icing on the cake. Kind of makes your realize just what a mob they are. Reassuring. Shows they are just abunch of thugs who can cause chaos, can cause death and suffering but really cannot win.
