I heard that Meathead was implicated in huge alleged misspending/malfeasance of money from the cigarette tax he advocated to the voters some years ago. The money may have gone to campaigning for his pre-school initiative. This does not bode well for him and his possible run for governor. I am a PROUD native born Californian living out of the state because, in part, California is just not what it can be.
Maybe that is why he is stepping away. Because they are finding a few things wrong perhaps?
I LOL when I read about Barbara Striesand saying she was giving some I believe musical concert proceeds to her foundation. Her foundation is a tax haven for her.
