Count me in as a Bush lover. He literally couldn't give a rat's a** about polls. He just does his job and calls 'em like he sees 'em. He is a straight shooter and he just continues to frustrate the hell out of the Democrats.
He should.
If he sinks the GOP in the 2006 elections, he will have an impeachment on his hands. A Dem House WILL impeach him for something, and the MSM will intone how serious and grave the allegations are.
He will then be distracted by impeachment proceedings (and a trial that would be unsuccessful) for much of 2007, distracted from the rest of the world's events.
The President's low popularity is a serious problem, even if Freepers cavalierly dismiss it. He doesn't have the political stroke right now do do anything against Iran, for example. To the extent they become a more severe danger, he can't muster support if his polls are in the low to mid 30s.
He better turn this around and fast.
Bush may not care but Karl Rove sure does as well as every Republican candidate this year.
I will support Bush until the day he leaves office. As well, I will support our Troops and the assignments they are given.
What I will never again support, are the majority of the American people......the majority are gutless, twofaced cowards.
He frustrates the hell out of alot of Republicans too.
I'm with you, I trust the man completely. I readily admit that it was not always so, but over the years, he has stepped up to the plate over and over again. He is a man of his word, and history will show that.
God Bless George W. Bush!
