This has NOT been a brutal winter, the poor and the indigent elderly GET CHEAP OR FREE FUEL. and nobody is being found frozen to death in their homes!

things appear to have hit a speedbump, but the Sunnis are now buying into the government and the Shiites are holding back, surprisingly enough.
Al-Sistani has asked for peace. He's a BIG piece of the puzzle in Iraq. If we alienated him, our time there would have been much harder than it already was.
I pinged Allegra because she is there now. I'm not. But things aren't NEARLY as bad now as they were when I got there in January of 2004. No where near.

But I love him. The poll doesn't matter to me even if it were zero.
I just think about how horrible things were when the Demo-fascists were in power under Clinton, and Bush looks like a gem.

So you are saying that because Iran can cause an oil crisis we should not attack them and hence as a consequences have nuclear weapons? I think most Americans will greatly disagree with you on this one. Now if the DPW deals is stopped and OPEC cut productions and then we have an oil crisis then the American people will realize that the hysteria that swept the nation over the Ports deal was really, really, really bad and they will be vindicated. That no to consider that when we spit in the eyes of our best ally, the UAE, we will lose all our military bases in the UAE and possibly in Kuwait and Qatar.

Now why, exactly, should Saudi Arabia cut production ? That means giving up income because the Emir of Dubai's feelings were hurt. Why should they ?
Venezuela and Iran will only cut if other do. They need the money.
