You should actually read some of the news...the threads are up. Of course you'd have to be interested in the good news surrounding our troops...and let's face it, you're not interested in good news.
so you are essentially admitting that the UAE is blackmailing the US. either they get their ports deal, with no qualifications, or they turn on us as you describe.
and then in the next breath, you want us to believe they are a "great ally". are their any other UAE requests that we would have to comply with, no questions kased, if they made them, based on your scenario.
Welcome to FR.
Not according to the Republican chair of the Homeland Security Committee. And Trent Lott. Dane, I know you're all hard for this deal. Why, I can't fathom. But the President is hurting himself and his party very badly by pushing this.
You're wearing that out. It's no longer cute.
Playing politics with the dead isn't a good thing...much like they way you people are playing politics with our living and dead troops.
Don't presume to know what I'm interested in.
When you get your head out of Bush's butt, you'll realize that things are NOT going well in Iraq. Only an idiot would think they are.
Jveritas, you make very little rational sense.
The moment a bomb drops on Iran the futures market will go haywire and the barrel cost will at least double. And why should OPEC cut production because the Emir of Dubai's feelings were hurt ? That is not how grownups think.
If prices remain high during the winter (and they will) people will be found dead in frozen houses and Bush will be blamed. There is a kind of house fire common in poor neighborhoods in harsh winters. That is because everyone sleeps in one room around the space heater. Someone's blanket gets caught in the wiring, it catches fire while everyone is sleeping... Expect that to get lots of airplay. If it so happens that we have a harsh winter, God help the GOP.
No need to presume...it's apparent.
What scandals? You're just making stuff up, now.
Apparently I missed the cheering crowds in Fallujah.
They are scrapping bottom...
You're funny.
When you get your head out of Bush's butt, you'll realize that things are NOT going well in Iraq. Only an idiot would think they are.
Would you send an independent to Congress who said, "Let me speak for you in Washington. Let me fight to secure our borders. Let me fight the special interests. I'm willing to take on the powers the others won't challenge, the tax code and Wall Street and the big unions!"
Cute or not, it is accurate.
