I have a feeling that the social gospel churches have already included references to Islam in teachings, if only marginally. You know, kind of side by side with Jesus, Confucius, Zoroaster, and so on.
It isn't that absurd to suggest that they might "keep on keeping on" in the mingling of truth and error, is it?

Sadly, no. And I imagine they'll keep doing it until their muslim 'brothers' burn their churches down...
