Agree on the "crap" statement. Also, using the writer's "teach a man to fish" metaphor; Democrats have always been for "gave a man a fish and you feed him for a day" philosophy and it's the Republicans who have been for "teach a man to fish and he'll feed himself for a lifetime" philosophy. I see nothing on the horizon that will change this.
