Optimism is the fulfillment of life itself. Why do we need to justify it by proving it increases cardiovascular health? Surely, pessimism is not going to make you want to live longer, healthier lives, happier lives.

Studies and observations like these just goes to show how disconnected these academics and reporters are from a total comprehension and integration of life.

They think nothing is related to anything else -- except for some study showing a correlation, and only then, could it possibly be true. Do these reporters think that one has to have a Ph.D. and be funded by a grant from the National Institute of Health to arrive at these conclusions?

Where are they passing out the Nobel Prizes?
