You've got it. I still recall the utter adulation with which the MSM greeted Hillary when she first entered the national scene. The MSM will innoculate her from any criticism, will make it seem like mean-old conservatives dredging up the past. (Unlike, of course, the Bush National Guard story, which they revived and revived and revided, even as they were trying to beat back the Kerry Swift Boat story.) Yes, the MSM will be a massive asset to a Hillary candidacy. Our only hope would be that the general public would be sickened by too much Hillary worship, and there'd be a backlash. Or that - sometime in the campaign - Hillary's shrill, shrieky side will emerge, ala Howard Dean.
