I don't know if I'd get too worked up over this. From the smell of it, I'd submit Jayson Blair may now be freelancing for Insight. I think the best thing that could happen is for "W" to take a solid stand for Cheney. Take the VP to the woodshed if necessary, but it makes little sense to throw him overboard. The Dims, given their allies within the faux press, would probably get a lot more mileage out of it than Pubbies.
I agree entirely...the Democrats would count the early departure of Cheney as one of their crowning achievements.
