What a load of hooey. Everclear is 190 proof, or 95% alcohol by volume. That is the highest purity achieved by distillation. I will not kill a grown man. Two tablespoons of this wonder liquor would equate to about 1.5 jiggers (ozs) of Wild turkey 101 proof. That may get you loaded, but will not kill anybody above the body weight of a child.

Did you mean "I will not kill a grown man" or "It will not kill a grown man"?

I hope you're referring to both!

I caught that too. What a ridiculous statement.

However, if it comes from the Isle of Islay I'll bet it's pretty tasty.

The author also seems to compare Scottish Whiskey with Irish Whiskey. There are worlds of difference.

I will admit to a fondness for one particular product from the Isle of Islay. That's Talisker. It's by far and away one of the finest single malt Scotch Whiskeys I've ever tried.

I will not kill a grown man.

Not even if he's English?

Yep. You are correct.

Great screen name, by the way. My mom traced our family back to William Wallace.
