Ummm....not sure...how long has the democrat party been around?
Also,,,It is immoral and abusive to FORCE immature children and youth into a government indoctrination environment where they are surrounded by teachers and other children who attack and undermine the most cherished traditions taught in the home. When and why did citizens give government this much power over our minds and thoughts?
The left has infiltrated the schools and wants to use it to indoctrinate our children. They are unable to win people over at the ballot box, so they greatly desire to change the perceptions of the next generation in hopes of winning that way...that is why they fight tooth and nail against any sort of voucher programs, even though they are working where they have been established and none of the doom and gloom projections have come to pass.
If there was a strong movement to eliminate government schools the complaint the left will use is separation of church and state. They will complain that tax money will go to schools set up by religious folk of all persuasions...and they will attempt to use fear of funding madrassas to scare otherwise rational people from endorsing any move to private schools.
Excellent example of twisted Leftist paper writing. Who could be against teaching "peace"? If the Wa Compost were a true newspaper and not a Marxist rant, the article's title would be something like "Students Question Class' alleged Political Bias."
Maybe he f'ed up and quoted an actual conservative that wasn't on the WaCompost approved list of pseudo-conservative lackeys, or failed to describe him as "far right wing conservative extremist who want to starve your grandma".

If you have asked to be added to this list, and havent been receiving the pings, please let me know. Ive had a problem with my file synchronization between my home and work computer, and apparently have lost some names on the list. I think I have the problem fixed, and will gladly re-add your name.
Thanks for the ping. I'm SHOCKED that the Post covered this.
What more needs to be said?
Please add me to the ping list on public schools.
