You neglect to mention the probable drastic increase in fuel economy. As to who will work on them--they ARE powered by internal combustion and have wheels--so any decent auto mechanic will be qualified to "work on these things".

Looks like a perfect vehicle for the daily commute.

Hi Wonder Warthog-

It won't be as easy to obtain a mechanic who feels like wrestling with the idiosyncracies of these trikes as you think.

• What about warranty work?
• How is one going to drive that thing onto a standard hydraulic lift to get beneath it for oil changes other than crawling beneath it in a driveway?
• Improved fuel mileage...better than a new, reliable-as-an-anvil Toyota Corolla?
• Like a motorcycle, it still doesn't have A/C for the pilot and passenger. The trikes will have less air circulation.
• It requires the same size parking spot as a car.

Thanks, but I'll stick with a traditional motorcycle for fuel-efficient, zippy commuter transportation on days when I don't feel like taking the train or a car. They'll need to sink LOTS more engineering brainpower into this concept before it really makes sense.
