Top Ten Reasons I'll Never Have 10,000 Posts on Free Republic10. Every thread where I post a lenghty diatribe gets pulled (this one's safe because Jim Robinson posted here).
9. It's Bush's fault.
8. I just can't seem to find the right words... so after several attempted variations I decide to forego posting altogether.
7. Okay I admit it -- I'm mostly a lurker.
6. I just can't bring myself to post on the Creation vs. Evolution threads.

LOL - looks like you beat me by about two and a half months. I wish that I had signed up when I first started lurking here. I lurked for at least a couple of years before I finally had to post, and could remain silent no longer.
Then I could lord my sign-up date over everyone else, just like all the other old-timers here do. :-)

I wish that I had signed up when I first started lurking here. I lurked for at least a couple of years before I finally had to post, and could remain silent no longer. That's exactly how it was with me. I started lurking in '98 when I first heard about a big rally in DC and read threads voraciously.
Oh, well...we're here now and FR's all the better for it. ;-)

And our post numbers only reflect the posts we've all made from around 2000 or later ( I forget when the counters were set up ), so the earlier years, you and I were posting, aren't reflected in the count.
I have NO idea how many replies I make a month; I don't keep a record, nor do I count them.
