One of their goals is to keep people off the public lands. This roadless....Clinton program grabbed millions of acres of public land.
Roadless land means that old and disabled people have no right to access the public lands. Even if there have been county and state roads there for decades.
Having hunters, campers, bikers, hikers, skiiers, our military doing training... "in the wilderness" in bad in their view.
Our public lands were "The Lands of Many Uses." Now they are the lands of no use.
By preventing the removal of wind blown and/or beetle killed trees, the envirnomental community has set up a disaster. We will be having massive fire storms for decades to come.
We will have air pollution during the fires, water pollution from the ash after the fires, then the destruction of the soil and its organic life from the intense fires...
People will die; homes, farms, ranches, live stock, jobs...will be lost.
You are so right. A big problem is all of the money raised by environmental groups is used to file lawuits. They do buy some land, but they do absolutely nothing for the speices they are taking donations in the name of.
I have tried to find out a way to track their political donations. There is no way I can find any way to track msot of their money.
They get alot of money from Robert Kennedy, jr., his foundations, and his friends like Ted Turner, George Soros...
The Sierra Club makes big money when they settle their lawsuits. The settlement agreements often include legal fees for the Sierra Club.
They also have Nature Conservancy and the Federal Tax Code that allows older ranchers and farmers to gain financially.
