My hubby has been mesmerized by the curling competitions....I kid you not!
I think it's the spin they put on the rock. It's hypnotizing.
All kidding aside, I did enjoy some of the Olympics. The speed skating, cross country skiing, and the Biathlon in particular. I really didn't care who won the events and I think most Americans feel the same way since we lost the great rivalry between us, the Soviets, and East Germans. I really think that, and the addition of professional athletes, has hurt the Olympics.
Mine too.........curling......sheesh. But then they had the streaker and that gave the only excitement to curling....IMO
