I really did enjoy watching all the Olympic coverage in HD. From a technical standpoint, the production was superb. Too bad it was done with NBC News/Sports announcers; what a waste...

I haven't figured that out either. Avril Levigne (sp?) performs, too.

"Some entertainment, mostly overhype and terrible coverage by NBC."
I heard NBC was covering it, but all I ever saw were commercials...I gave up long ago on it. So it's over now, eh?
To: Howlin
Don't know ... but I'm looking forward to hearing this guy ...

The most entertaining Olympic coverage so far has been Brian Kilmead's on F&F.

I live on the west coast. Thanks for letting me know so I can avoid the "every US white person is a racist" portion of NBC's olympic coverage. The MSM just couldn't end the olympics without bashing america in some way. Predictable.
I rented March of the Penguins and will be watching that.
As a matter of fact, NBC news just came on here and they are already attacking the whitehouse for the ports deal issue and interviewing union longshoremen who don't want the deal. I think I'll watch Penguins now. Buh-bye NBC......

Seeing as this is on tape delay, NBC will probably skip over him.

What you are missing are the visuals, which can't really be described. For example, the women accompanying the flag-bearers are wearing voluminous skirts that are meant to be mountains, with little pine trees on them.

I'm surprised we haven't heard much about security this time, aren't you?
I'm glad, but surprised.
