Thompson voted no on the clinton impeachment...Clinton certainly deserved impeachment IMO, but impeaching him would have made Gore the incumbent president in the 2000 election. That edge might have been enough to get Gore elected. Yuk. Perhaps Thompson made the wise choice after all.

Clinton certainly deserved impeachment Bill Clinton was, is and always will be impeached. The Senate simply voted against removing him from office.
