He had served for many years as Professor of Hydraulic Engineering at the Virgina Polytechnicc Institute in Virgina. He then maintain staff positions elsewhere at universities as well as authored books of reasons for a created world/universe/living things verse evolutionary concepts. He helped form more then one group to gather like minded scientist/engineers/ to research and publish things they felt back up a reason to believe in a creation, and basically young earth model. In all he based on my personal readings tried to be fair. I do not think I ever read a verse where he was mean spirited or bashed the other side. In short a gentlemen with strong convictions he felt should be shared based on solid science and engeineering principles.
