They do call it the Cambridge, Newton, Brookline Axis around this area.
All are profoundly liberal towns with a whole lot of crazy stuff going on in their public school systems, and other public areas.
Once upon a time Newton Mass. was said to be one of the wealthiest communities in the USA. Somewhere behind Beverly Hills, and Greenwich Connecticut.
I don't know if that was ever true or if it is anymore, but Newton is a seriously liberal community.
