OK, so then there is no difference between liberalism and conservatism.
There is however, I surmise some great interest among professional politicians in keeping us all opposed to each other.
Gosh, we aren't supposed to be figuring this out for ourselves. The Massas of the plantations might not look fondly on such notions.

After the 2000 elections a 50-50 Senate wasn't good enough, so they had Jeffords (Fool that he is) make the jump into ultimate oblivion.
Lincoln Chafee meanwhile was just waiting in the wings to jump ship to the Democrat Party. He can't do that if it is the step that makes Rhode Island completely irrelevant in the Dark City. God forbid that he should have to make a difference after Jumping Jefforrds embarrassed himself and made Vermont even more irrelevant than it ever should have been with it's three electoral votes .
Speaking of Vermont.....Can you say "Howard Dean?"
Yeah Dean and Jeffords make Vermonters look quite rational. Not that I should bitch much, being from Boston and all that.

This why parents should homeschool if at all possible, and work for the complete separation of SCHOOL and state.
