As ABC found out "Nightstalker" w/o the "original" was not the same.... two of my favorites in one day...I'm getting old.

Actually, I thought that they wasted him on the X-Files. They had him do a wrap-around to introduce a segment that took place years ago, with some other actor. I would have liked to have seen him in action.

Worse, when they did a follow-up episode, he wasn't available, so they replaced him with a brother -- even though they used the same character in the flashback segment.
