Lots of reasons to look closely at this deal

It's all I want. I won't like it if it goes through, but I'll accept it. I'm not thrilled with Chinese involvement in the Port of Long Beach and I'm not thrilled with an Australian/Spanish consortium leasing to toll roads in Illinois.

i hadn't heard about the Chinese involvement in the port of long beach. could you elaborate?

i guess if we turn over all our ports to communist governments and terror-supporters, we can always re-draw the boundaries of the US so as to exclude the east and west coasts. the congress could simply cede the coastal areas to the UAE and China.
the added advantage would be that most of the popular targets for terrorists would no longer be in the US, so we wouldn't have to worry anymore.
a brilliant new phase of the war on terror!
