False. As Frank Gaffney has testified, this puts them inside our security perimeter. With all that entails.
For you to even claim otherwise, you manifestly have no knowledge to support your position.
And don't rely on broad, over-reaching assertions for the headlines by top-brass idiots. And having some 'expert' who isn't say its so...doesn't make it so. We have had countless dock-security people screaming murder about this...and they are being over-ridden...and having their jobs threatened.
If your side was so confident in your 'thorough vetting' why won't you let it stand in the light of day? Why the Soviet-style oppression of dissent? Especially those with the ACTUAL expertise.

How about the sale of the Long Beach port to the Chinese? How about the ports that are now run by The Saudis? How about the ports world wide that Middle Eastern companies run that ship things TO the U.S. Inside our security perimiter? Give me a break. The uproar over this deal is grandstanding. WHO is being threatened? Yeah, George Bush wants the destruction of America so badly that he is willing to hand our ports directly to Al Qeda so they can nuke us. Come on. If the press weren't hyping this no one would care. I have knowledge,my friend. Knowledge of the press, knowledge of the President, and knowledge of liberals. nuff said.
