When I first heard that US ports were being SOLD to a foreign state I along with everyone else thought this was indefensible. When I looked into it and saw that no PORTS were being SOLD to anybody I realized people were either fatally uninformed or were deliberately working to stampede me with distortions and outright lies.

From Hannity to Hillary, we have shot ourselves in the foot with the anti-UAE demogoguery and overreaction. Why would ANY muslem work with us when they see this example of how we treat those who try.

" ... deliberately working to stampede me with distortions and outright lies" ... would seem to be more correct than not, based on past evidence.

I am still in shock over VP Cheney's attempting to assassinate that lawyer, because he was covering up an adulterous relationship while being drunk.

Hannity has been frothing at the mouth for a full week about the deal, but he is slowing down his attacks and appears to be more moderate. I doubt he had read the fine print about the port deal when the week started. For me, it is of little consequence that they manage six ports.

Much more significant is the management by the Chicoms of both ends of the Panama Canal. Their insidious penetration of Latina America is recognized by few and is being very successful. There are now four commie/socialist presidents in LA. Mexico may be the next to elect a known commie president. Then what do we do?

i have read on FR that the UAE supported the talaban and still supports hamas.
we can do business with such allies, but we don't need to let them run port operations.
