As soon as this think blew up, I couldn't help but think of the danger the UAE is now in. Al Qaeda is certainly learning what a great ally the UAE is and has been to the USA. Learning about how much they have helped us militarily got the attention of many in this country this week.But, I'm also sure that it got the attention of Al Qaeda leaders as well. Working that closely with the "infidel" can surely bring some attacks their way.

When will Lawrence O'Donnell be on Olberforehead to reveal the whole ports issue was a White House scam to get attention away from Dick Cheney's drunken shotgun rampage?
We will soon see Hillary and Chuckie come out and say the White House betrayed "our great ally Dubai, as well as the congress and the American people" and that they were both duped, and Bush should be impeached for supporting the port sale, even though they both support it now, too.
Were Saturday Night doing anything remotely as good as that parody, I would still be watching.

Well I have two friends living there now, and the word of Rush Limbaugh and Tommy Franks that #6 is not a true reflection of Dubai.
I know two other guys that work at the State Department that are Ham Operators, and helped their friend (the Crown Prince) build a Contest Radio Station. None of these people see Dubai in that light.

Someday Savage will say something like the AIDS comment that got him knocked off TV, and get himself in hot water. I don't want to see anyone, from any political stripe, getting knocked off the air over that PC crap, but that's what will happen to him, or he will get some disease and go into Morton Downey "I love everyone now" mode.
He certainly won't become interesting, though. He's the audio equivalent of a broken glass and rusty nail milkshake with a sandpaper chaser.
