Srebrenica, Gorazde and Zepa Ham radio operators provided that gave insight to the traumatic carnage being wrought onto the people of the region. How much more truthful can you get?

Well, GAB, if it were just a case of nationalism , then why would two countries on the other side of the world be the main arms suppliers to the main protagonists?
Not only that, but IRAN and ISRAEL.
Think about it.

Why? Because a war starts with nationalism and it can expand when others interfere in the matter. But that does not justify the cause of the Serbs, Croats, or Bosnians. All were guilty, though the guilt does not lie equally on all of them. The Czechs and Slovaks divided their lands equally. Serbia chose force of arms, and for its folly, is losing everything. And folly it was.

From GAB
" Because a war starts with nationalism and it can expand when others interfere in the matter."
A couple of points.
One. The Bosnian Muslim leader had stated many times that he wanted to create a Caliphate. Know what a Caliphate is?
He also wanted to introduce Islamic law into a European country. Any problems with that? He'd been a supporter of Kohmeini from the early h's and thought that Israel had no right to exist.
So it didn't even start off as being simply a nationalist fight.
It was Religious from the off.
Secondly, there are many, many wars in the world where neither Iran nor Israel play any role. So why Bosnia?
The answer's easy. See point one.

That should read,
"He'd been a supporter of Kohmeini from the early 60's and thought that Israel had no right to exist."
