I'm amazed that there's a law like that. kind scary actually to think someone could be arrested just for discussing the application in theory of such things.

It could come to that if they want to gin up some intent and prosecute. Stuff like this is all over the net, libraries, personal encyclopdeias etc.

The only way a law like this is workable is if they have a firebrand like in the article advocating the use of such a device as well.
I wonder if he gets convicted?

Actually from a practical standpoint it sounds like it would be pretty hard to get a conviction short of a "now go forth and bomb stuff" videotape.
Anyone know how the other 4 times it was used turned out?

Based on this incident and the jailing of the historian who denied the holocaust in Europe, I think we can safely say the muslims were correct regarding free speech. There obviously is no such thing when it suits a govt.
