Councilwoman Conyers, she is Congressman Conyers wife.

Yesterday she chimed in with her fund-raising idea, "GM could pay for the elephants." The press had to tell her there were no elephants at the Detroit Zoo, Winky and Wanda were moved to a sanctuary last year.

Today Mrs. Conyers suggested naming the Zoo after Mrs. Rosa Parks.
