Hannity has gone over to the dark side over this issue. He's now calling everyone who doesn't agree with him koolaide drinkers...while continuing to parrot the lie that it's about "managing" ports.
My thoughts are: there's going to be an inquiry. Let it be until there are hearings or results. It's important but nothing Sean says or we say any more means anything until roughly 45 days from now. Let's shelve it and move on.
Sean is tied into his opinion, and is bouyed by the polls.
He thinks people who support it don't understand the deal because it "is secret".
The deal is not secret, it is posted on the P&O web site. It's a publicly held company being purchased -- the stockholders have to know the deal, and the deal is published for them.
And even if he was RIGHT, the people who made the decision DO HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION, and they are all in agreement that this deal doesn't threaten us.
I won't say any more on the subject. Sean will continue to say that DP World can't own ports because they are owned by the UAE and the UAE is bad and it's just the way it is and he's tired of being called a racist for saying that arabs can't be trusted because, d*mnit, they can't be trusted and everybody knows that.
Sean is a lightweight but the little girls on this thread love him ........ no matter what.
Hannity needs to keep the NYers on his side. Why I'll never know, but then intellectual honesty is not his strong point.
