you don't have to excerpt this source.

The House Select Committee on Academic Freedom has held hearings at Temple University, University of Pittsburgh and at the state capital to determine the state of academic freedom and intellectual diversity of state-funded colleges and universities in Pennsylvania.

The committee was formed after Representative Gibson C. Armstrong (R-Lancaster) met Jennie Mae Brown, a student at the York campus of Penn State, who told him of her physics professor’s rants against President Bush.

It looks to be high time the liberal, socialist, PC, ivory towered elitist pinheads get a slap or two in their collective gigantic tenured ass.

Perhaps things are starting to change!

Thank you. I will keep you up to date. I have two more stories coming out on the specifics by Monday or Tuesday. I'm new to FreeRepublic and still learning the ropes.

"Acts of intolerance will not be tolerated at The Pennsylvania State University."

I suppose this means the University reserves the right to monopolize on-campus intolerance. Or it could mean this policy was drafted by a moron.

There's no law that says you have to send your kids to crappy colleges.

How many colleges are you aware of that are NOT run by politically correct liberals (leftists)?

There are not many.

From the things I've read about Temple and Penn State, sounds to me like the inmates are running the asylum and changes are needed in a big hurry. The taxpayers in Pennsylvania need to revolt and throw these college bigwigs out on their collective fat a$$e$. P.C. my a$$!!!

There's a splendid irony in the courts -- the last hideout of insane Liberalism -- being used to stomp on college campuses that violate any parts of the Constitution they don't like.

Last time I looked those colleges are subsidized heavily by taxes.
