Yes, stopping every financial contract within the U.S. that involves foreign companies until everyone is totally happy wouldn't be a waste of time...it would be economic suicide.

You apparently don't understand what I have said or you're intentionally misrepresenting my position. Go back to the beginning of the thread, open your eyes and read what I have said.

I never advocated stopping every financial contract that involves foreign companies until everyone is totally happy with it. You are being absurd and misleading by suggesting that that is what I want.

I am simply trying to hold my leaders accountable. I will not stick my head in the sand and trust Big Government to know what's best for me. When I have questions, I will ask them. That is every citizen's right, duty and obligation.

The government exists to serve me and my fellow citizens. We do not exist to serve the government. We are all part owners of the government. The primary function of the federal government is to provide for national defense. That concerns every one of us. If the government is taking an action that we don't understand, we should ask our leaders for an explanation. That isn't a "waste of time", as you put it. That is democracy and it is NOT a spectator sport.
