Good morning, fellow Snowflakes! Happy Friday! Here's your last Tony Snow article ping from me. :-(
It won't be long before Tony is accused of drinking the koolaide...along with General Tommy Franks and Colonel Ollie North.
Tony has said it best with the least amount of verbiage.
Being accused doesn't make it so ;-)
Thank you, Oklahoma!
Hello,
One suggestion when posting Tony Snow columns... please add 'editorial' to the topics you select. That way more folks will get the opportunity to read his excellent writing.
I already added editorial for this thread that you just posted.
thanks,
Tony in Boulder
Just in case you didn't see it.
I still want to know that the money isn't going into the hands of terrorists.
Thanks for the catch. Bill Bennett opposes the leasing and has some interesting arguments. I'm still with Tony, but I'm enjoying the discussion. One thing all this proves is that Republicans are not walking in lock step behind President Bush, just as we didn't with Ms. Miers nomination.
:-) Thanks, Tony in Boulder, sad that I hear that as I turn in my Head Snowflake posting responsibilities.

MS: If even a company from the United Arab Emirates is unacceptable, then basically what we're saying this is a clash of civilizations. And before I'm prepared to
and I'm as gung ho for that as most people. But before I'm prepared to ban Arab companies from doing business in the United States, I think we should ban Saudi propagandists from funding and running medrasas and think tanks in the United States.
I am willing to believe him more so than the Chucky Schummer or Hellary clinton crowd.
FR used to be a place where FReepers could have a good discussion and disagree and still come away friends. We just see more exceptions these days.
On the other hand you have Chucky Schumer, Anne Coulter and Michael Savage, all of whom are considering experts on everything.
The Dems are about politics. If they could campaign with W, they would. As it stands, I disagree with our beloved Fred Barnes who last night remarked that the extent of Republican aversion to the President surprised him. I think it's more that these Republicans in Congress are in trouble politically. But the second they start their actual campaigning, I am convinced that all of these Republicans will want to be seen with the President and even better, have hiim campaign for them.
LOL! If I wanted to be free to do as I was told, I would be a liberal.
As an aside: Saudi Arabia already manages quite a few terminal/ports in the country.
