it will not go through "as is".
there will need to be additional review, and additional assurances and security protocols put in place. if the administration were smart - it would go on offense and propose some of those additional assurances and security measures, drop those waivers in the CFIUS application, etc.
if they want it to go through, the administration is going to have to act affirmatively to make it happen. not just sit back with a "trust us" message - if that's all we've got to say during the next 45 days on this, then we might as well kill it now and not suffer anymore political damage.
