Saw it. It was great.

Only had ONE problem with it...

President Bush said that the attacks on this country or we were at war...something to that effect...on 9/11, 2001.

We were at war in 1993, we just didn't have a President or a sufficient military to do anything about it.

I grew up very close to the Capitol Buildings in Olympia and played in and around them. Their beautiful grounds and gardens were my extended back yard. I had a tree fort complex (two forts so friends and I could play) on the lawn, slid down the marble banisters, climbed to the top of the dome for an awesome view of the city, crept in awe into the legislative chamber balconies, climbed out on the ledges and looked in the windows of the State Supreme Court building, "toured" the main capitol building many times, etc. Here are some exterior photos. I'll keep looking for some of the House or Senate chambers.

My old stomping grounds; I watched the freeway being built that runs left to right across the bottom of the photo; my grade school was where the grassy field is in the lower right; I lived and worked within the area shown here for most of my life till 1994.
Aerial view of the Capitol (mid-photo), looking north to the southernmost point of Puget Sound with the Olympic Mountains to the left.

The International Hotel in Ashford where the police found money in a van is right next to the entrance to the M20.

No. Forgive me ignorance...is that close to you, or do you have some affiliation with that Hotel?

I've been working, and haven't had a chance to keep up.

And .. we have to remember sometimes that the people raising all the HELL are not FReepers at all .. but people who come here on a regular basis to feed on somebody's fears.

All it takes is for one person to complain and it allows an open door for all the complainers to join in.

I agree DrDeb - just visit the Dose and turn off the TV and stay out of controversial threads. It will help your sanity. Eventually it will calm down. I just refuse to let them dictate my attitude or mood for the day.

Wow! I didn't know about that one. I'm reading, "Rebel in Chief" - it's excellent so far.
