Concur! (Good analysis on her part too.)
Two concerns:
1. CFIUS's rubber stamp (WHAT? Only 1 merger/sale disapproved out of over 1500 cases??? How can that rubber stamp be considered "seriously analyzed"?
2. Why is Bush pushing this? Who is pulling his strings(influencing the sale so strongly? Who oiled the strings to begin this sale in the first place? What is the REASON this is so important to the White House that they would threaten his FIRST veto in 5 years?
Something doesn't add up. It may not be illegal, unethical, or fattening... But something smells here.
