I seem to remember a couple of jurisdictions prohibiting sex toys.

Didn't the Alabama Supreme Court allow the state (or a city) to ban them all together?

Yup! Heck, the state of Missouri once banned ALL sex!

They are illegal in Texas. Occasionally the DA who didn't care much for enforcing Texas' sodomy law will get the vice squad to bust the clerk working in an adult store.

The state says that they cannot be "detailed" in a way that makes them resemble male anatomy and in general, possession of 6 or more is intent to sell.
