It's too bad we couldn't get Frank Mascara to run against Pennsylvania's abomination in the 'Rat primary and damage him for the general. This young lady is going to need beaucoup $$ to challenge Murtha.

Voters vote for two but the top three are elected. This ensures a minority seat on the commission. In 1996, Washington County elected two Republicans and a Democrat -- I don't remember where Irey placed. Obviously in the 2004 election she finished third.
