Every dollar that liberal groups spend in the district is a dollar that (i) will serve as evidence of the leftward tilt of the Democrat Party, which will bring to the GOP even more of the conservative Democrats that make up a majority in the district, and (ii) may not be used in more socially liberal districts in which such ads may be more effective, such as against vulnerable GOP incumbent Jim Gerlach in the Chester-Berks-Montco PA-06 and potentially vulnerable GOP incumbents Mike Fitzpatrick in the Bucks County PA-08 and Curt Weldon in the Delco-Chester County PA-07.
