The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA) was established in 1979 to meet the transportation needs of Importers and Exporters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Middle East.
By 1983, NSCSA has established itself as a combination Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro), Container and Breakbulk carrier, operating 8 fully owned vessels. It had become one of the world's largest Ro-Ro operators, offering liner services linking the Middle East with North America, the Far East and Europe.
In 1991, NSCSA (America) Inc., was established to serve as the General Agent in North America for the Liner Service between U.S., Canada and the Middle East/India Subcontinent/East Mediterranean regions.
NSCSA specializes in Project, Heavy Lift and Ro-Ro cargoes, as well as containers.
In 1997, NSCSA began service between North America and Italy, Greece and Turkey.

That's the only way they can get a poll to come out their way.
This is just an orchestrated effort.
another irritating talking point is "why would they spend 6 billion to blow up their own port?"
if they believe this then they should also applaud bill clinton giving nuclear secrets to the chinese , ie why would china want to nuke their most valuable trading partner?
(china wants to nuke us and has stated it openly within the past year)
Why WOULD China want to nuke its most valuable trading partner?
Funny you should mention talking points...you keep posting them.
They? LOL! It's Jim's poll, and I needn't ping him for mere mention of the poll being his...lol.
Yep.
Let me guess!
For the very same purpose the UAE company is investing 7 billion dollars?
They will only be managing commercial concerns within U.S. ports, management and security of the port remains the responsibility of the local port authority and appropriate federal agencies.
The keywords here are "Muslims" and "managing" -- even just the nebulous term "managing commercial concerns" -- and ANYTHING else in the U.S.
Perception is everything.
Yes, perception is everything to some people. Given that criteria I guess I'll have to side with General Tommy Franks on this. I think his real knowledge of the UAE, the war on terror, national defense, the middle east and DP World is far more compelling then mere perceptions.
Agreed...
And the revelation that the Saudis are already entrenched in the operation/ownership of U.S. ports is even MORE insidious -- not less.
just as i suspected, you haven't a clue. you support bill clintons transfer of nuclear secrets to the chinese because you believe there is no threat. try reading bill gertz colums about china and the nuclear threat (oh wait bill gertz must be some sort of kook as well)
they're also working with iran and russia....
sink, this will be my last reply to you.
The majority believe American companies now operate all the 900 marine terminals. Why they believe this is a mystery.
Then have JR fire up another poll (And again, the Saudis ARE "Arab.")
Perception IS everything when facts are ignored. That is the case here with well meaning folks. It is not the case with other folks who are here primarily to disrupt.
This disinformation campaign is working.
I believe there is an eventual method to both the Chinese and Muslim madness (under the guise of "global capitalist ventures.")
This whole disinformtion campaign is based on perception...misrepresentations and lies.
Seems like many, maybe most, will continue to believe their first assumption for a long, long time no matter what. One of the best sources for interviews on the port scandal that I have regular access to is Coast. Now, Rush has been very good, too, but he doesn't interview. Both Savage and Laura the Lawyer have been off the mark by a long shot, but that is because of the formulas for their shows.
I don't normally give North that much credit but since the fighting started he's spent a lot of time in the area and has current first hand knowledge.
Keep in mind, they have been accusing General Franks of sucking up to the President, shilling for the President, being in the back pocket of of the UAE and even being an Arab appeaser.
Lies and misrepresentation repeated again and again, ad nauseum.
Good people can disagree, but do it honestly and without emotion.
Ignoring the facts and distorting the role of the UAE entity is a non starter and there can be only one reason for such behavior here --- the posters are here under false pretenses.
I can easily summon up a little respect for a poster who admits he hates Bush, hates Arabs, doesn't give a damn about offending a good ME ally on the WOT, etc.
But to repeatedly close one's ears to factual information, tells me that person is either deaf, dumb or disruptor.
