We have huge commercial interactions with the Saudis, and they are right here among us no doubt in sensitive places.

But this isn't about either Saudi or UAE "controlling our ports". Our own laws and our own rules and regulations and our own enforcement and security agencies "control our ports".

True under the Brit company before; will remain true under the UAE one.

No, they control the oil that fuels our economy. I am just as concerned about this as I am about the ports.

I guess my point is, if we aren't going to allow Arabs to control our ports, there is no reason not to bundle this with not allowing the Arabs to control our energy sources.

Makes it easier to work on passing something so we can get ANWR opened.
