There is nothing inherently wrong with workers banding together to give them clout.

That's called collusion, or price-fixing, and is considered illegal and immoral in every other scenario. And with good reason.

Define it in any way you choose and judge it however you choose. I don't really care what you think unless you try to force your beliefs on me. And with good reason.

Workers have a right to try to improve their position, within the bounds of the law, and employers have the right to tell them where to get off, again within the bounds of laws. As to morality, I doubt that you or I can be subjective in saying what is moral.

That doesn't mean we can't try, or that we won't come off as indignant when we fail.
