Emotional responses don't assist in critical thinking. Israel is part of a larger struggle and can only be protected in the long run as part of that larger strategy.
Tactical concerns must be subordinate to that larger strategy.

It is those who might die in the future because of the failure of the strategic plan that should be our concern more than those who have already died. They cannot be helped.

So you are saying that a certain number of innocent civilian casualties are acceptable in light of the "big picture"??

How many?

Is 3,000 in one day too many? Some would say yes.

Is 800 over a few years acceptable? It sounds as if you think so.
