Denmark Newspaper Announces
New Comic Strip:
Derflügen Jihad

Satire by Writer33

Copenhagen…..—Under a firestorm of controversy, the Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, plans to step on the neck of Islamic fascists, and draw a new battle line by announcing their new comic strip. The new strip—which is to debut April 1, 2006—is titled, Derflügen Jihad.

The trouble all began with the publishing of cartoons, satirizing the Prophet Mohammad. This evoked wrath from radical Islamic clerics, bursts of rage in protests, as thousands gathered to do what they do best: burn things. In this religion of peace, clerics placed a bounty on the cartoonist at one million dollars. Eventually, this led to Denmark closing their embassy in Pakistan.

The newspaper insisted from the start that its purpose was to show that there are no higher values in a democratic society than free speech and free expression. And if Muslims want to live in Denmark, the paper insists, they’d better bear down and accept the status quo.

“Christians have been persecuted for thousands of years,” exclaimed Per Stig Moeller, Foreign Prime Minister. “And you don’t see Christians burning flags, caricatures or damaging personal property in the name of religion. This has reached levels of unprecedented absurdity in Danish history! Go Derflügen Jihad!”

The Danish government has had it with temper tantrums from Islamic fascists and is supporting the move by the paper. The Queen of Denmark can’t wait for the first issue of Derflügen Jihad and is reported to be receiving the first copy of the first run.

“I want all Danish citizens to know that supporting free speech means supporting the kind of speech you don’t like as well,” stated Queen Margrethe. “And if you don’t like it here, I’ll be the first one to put you on a slow boat to Iran.”

So, pushed to the brink, the paper is striking back in publishing this new comic strip. Derflügen Jihad is based upon the lead character, Denny Derflügen, a Danish superhero on his own personal quest to end Jihad. Some of the reported attributes of Denny include the ability to fly, the ability to see through underground bunkers, and the ability ski jump for up to 500 meters with a Mullah under each arm.

Denny is said to be a mild mannered ship builder by day, but by night, he scours the Internet and cruises the streets of Copenhagen, searching for Islamic fascists to wage his personal Jihad upon. His crusade—to end the world of terror—reaches across international lines to bring safety to the Danish people and establish Democratic nations in hopes of furthering world peace.

In the first strip, Denny cruises the streets of Copenhagen with his trusty peacemaker by his side. He encounters a group of Islamic fascists that are burning flags and overturning cars and quickly whips out his Jihad buster—a black, Glock 9mm—and brings Jihad justice to the radical fascists.

In this first strip, we hear Denny utter his favorite phrase. In the English version, Denny states, “If you want to be a peacemaker, you have to kick a little butt.”

“I think it’s great,” quipped conservative columnist Ann Coulter. “There’s nothing better than a good Glock 9mm by your side.”

“This comic strip is only going to inflame the peace-loving Islamic community,” stated Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY. “If you ask me, Denmark has become far too conservative. This is what happens when you turn loose conservatism. It’s all a big mistake.”

Denmark has taken enough of the threats and is choosing not to lay down for terror anymore. Instead, they are expressing their right to free speech no matter who it offends. The debut of the new strip Derflügen Jihad is just that expression, an expression of finality to the radical Islamic terrorists.

Wow! I'm impressed! The beheaded pencil should be sent to every publication in this country.

I didn't see that either. I would say that once published at FR, it no longer is satire. Not for the Islamists anyway. :) But the drawings are great!

Will Hilarity how long are we supposed to wait for the Islamic community to grow up?

How long before the West patients with the childish temper tantrums run out.

I think it is long past time that when these Islamic fundamentalist prigs start having their temper tantrums in the street damaging property they should be arrested and deported.

If they have been naturalized their citizenship should be revoked and they should be deported.

And Hilarity, the grisly murder of filmmaker Theo van Gogh is what happens when liberalism is turned loose.

I wish there were more Danish products on the market other than cheese and beer..."

Well we'll just have to double up on the beer, in the name of free speech!

That sounds impressive,Chris, but does Denny drop the mullahs mid jump,or what?

Yep, midair.

Does he defuse the bombs on their heads before or during the jump?

He doesn't defuse the bombs. They go off on impact.

Does he have to pay for their lift passes?

No, he gets a free lift pass. This, of course, is free because of the service to mankind.

Is Ann Coulter waiting breathlessly for Denny back at the ski lodge?

Where do you think he got the Glock? :-)

Thanks for reading, Boazo. Glad you enjoyed it. I guess I'll have to start giving my satires a more conservative feel.

Readers seem to enjoy those "from our viewpoint" more.
