The Los Alamos scientific laboratories have a highly automated accounting department.  One of the operators of the computer complex – with a rare sense of humor for an engineer—posted this warning:

 

Achtung! Alles Lookenpeepers:

 

Das computenmachine is nicht fur gefingerpoken under mittengraben.  Ist easy schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen, und poppencorken mit pittzensparken.  Ist nicht fur gewerken by das dummkopfen.  Das rubbernecken sightseeren keepen hans in das pockets – relaxen und vatch das blinkenlights.

.......only one thing: I question the bit about "a rare sense of humor for an engineer".

We all have a highly developed sense of humor and tell jokes at every opportunity.

Only audience to understand the punch lines in most cases is other engineers, unfortunately.
