Just as Kennedy began speaking, Trost was walking out of the room when he shouted, "Remember Chappaquiddick!"

BAWAHHHHHH!!! I would have paid good money to see the look on Kennedy's face!

"...says he was upset by an introduction of Kennedy given by Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-Mass., in which the congressman noted how the long-time senator overcame hardship in life on his way to success."

Hardship??!!? Tragedies maybe, but hardship??

It's only "embarassing" to the university if the students offend other than conservatives.

"One of my teachers called me ignorant and told me this was an embarrassment to the school," Trost told WND. "She said to me, 'Can't you forgive him after all these years?'

I might consider forgiving him after all these years, if he had served 30 or 35 years in prison, not sitting in a US Senate seat the entire time.

The teacher must not know history like this fellow does, or could care less as she must be a DUmmie.

I hope this young hero fights any disciplinary action by the school, in court. I'd donate to a fund to help see this first ammendment case taken all the way to SCOTUS. That would mean the LSM could not ignore the story.

Trost says the cop took down his information and told him he would be hearing from school officials about disciplinary action. A spokesman with the campus police verified the incident but stressed that Trost was not arrested.

Gee .. does the school also involve the police and give disciplinary action for students who yell things to conservatives??

Yea .. I didn't think so

And what hardship has Teddy had to over come??

He comes from one of the richest families in this country

Bravo! I've wanted to do the same thing as I'm sure many others would too. Free speech, remember? Or is that only apply when George Bush is speaking?

This is GREAT! I'm with those who say give him a FR award.

And how about barraging the school with e-mails?

Anybody know how to get their address?

This kid had better NOT get in trouble for exercising free speech and speaking the truth!

Parents on my son's baseball team were talking about the death penalty recently. A young couple who just moved from MA to GA commented how barbaric the death penalty was in GA and said that in MA they don't believe in the death penalty. I shot back that in MA you don't kill the criminals you make them Senators. Everyone else burst out laughing. Needless to say I didn't make new friends.

And if it wasn't for the internt we wouldn't know about it and the kid would be kicked out of college and that would be that.

If asked, Kennedy will say he didn't hear the guy. Count on it.

Great article. Glad he did it! Hope he isn't punished. Free speech and all that. I'm also glad that he is making sure that his generation know about it.

It sounds like this guy should get a full scholarship to a school like Grove City College or some other conservative Christian school, should his time on that campus be ended.

This is clear political speech.

He was expressing himself by his action (leaving) and communicating his evaluation of the ELECTED POLITICIAN's credentials.

If this student is diciplined in ANY way then this school should just shut its doors. It serves not purpose to society.

If this had bee conservative/leftist reversed, the announcer would be sued for provoking an outburst for not stating the complete history of the politician.

I would like to know what adversities Kennedy might have had to overcome, perhaps how to get his money dispersed so none of it was taken by taxes??????????

We can't applaud the shouting down of opposition people while they are giving a speech.

Far more classier tactics would have been to

Yeah, I guess what the student did was seemingly cool, but he does need to be punished for it.
